Felix Nankivell is an illustrator whose work moves between fashion, narrative, and a distinctly nostalgic sensibility. Raised on a cattle and cotton farm in rural New South Wales, he began drawing as a means of escape, constructing richly imagined worlds from an early age. Working primarily in fountain pen and watercolour, his practice celebrates the nuance and imperfection of the hand-drawn line. His work spans editorial, fashion, and cultural commissions, with clients including Giorgio Armani, Vogue, The Australian Ballet, and Hilton Hotels.
His illustrations have been featured in British Vogue and he has been profiled by The New York Times Style Magazine. Felix holds a Bachelor of Media and Communication from Charles Sturt University, a Diploma of Graphic Design from Billy Blue, and a Diploma of Interior Design from Sydney Design School. With over a decade of experience, he continues to cultivate a multidisciplinary practice grounded in visual storytelling, defined by elegance, narrative depth, and a quiet wit.
